No-bake holiday recipes for kids
Christmas is a great time for family activities and this includes getting into the kitchen with the kids! Christmas foods mean lots of colorful treats that your kids will love to decorate (and eat!). Cooking and baking is one activity you must do with your kids once in a while because not only will it help your bond, but you will also be able to teach your kids some skills and critical thinking that will be beneficial for them in the long run! An example is a Rocky road which is an instant favorite for the little ones since its mixed ingredients give festive flavors. Marshmallows are also a nice way to get creative. Maybe you can stack them up and make your own marshmallow snowmen! You can then use pretzel sticks for the arms and legs and maybe a chocolate chip for the eyes and buttons.

Easy Christmas treats
If you think the candy and treats craze is over once Halloween has passed, then you’re wrong! You must not forget that Christmas is all about festive candies and treats as well! What’s different about Christmas candies is you will see tons of Christmas-themed packaging and colors which ultimately feels as if Christmas is already here. Ranging from chocolate wrapped Santas to the traditional red and white and candy canes, here are some of the most popular and well-loved Christmas candies and treats of all time:
- Candy canes – You will never NOT see candy canes once December comes. Candy canes are so versatile that they can be hung on your Christmas trees or an extra festive display on your dining table.
- Chocolate Santa – Chocolate Santas are perfect to add for Christmas gifts or stocking stuffer! They are usually plain milk or dark chocolate and are shaped to look like Santa Claus.
- Gingerbread – Along with candy canes and chocolate Santas, gingerbreads are also one of the most popular and traditional holiday candy that you will see everywhere. What’s more is that you can build your own gingerbread house which is a well-known Christmas tradition.
- Hershey’s Kisses – Hershey’s Kisses also go on-theme once December arrives! These little, delicious chocolates are perfect for stocking stuffer or gifts!
- Peppermint bark – Peppermint bark pieces embody the two Christmas flavors: chocolate and peppermint!
- Reindeer corn – Yes, reindeer corn exists! They are covered with Christmas colors and are created to look like corn kernel pieces.
- Butter toffee – You will also see butter toffees on some families’ tables which ranges from fudge to bite-sized pieces.
- Truffles – Truffles are definitely a guest-favorite when it comes to Christmas parties and get-togethers!
